Many times, I have been asked about my journey in product marketing. Throughout my career, I have worked in sales and digital marketing, from research & analytics to branding and content creation. But, I always felt there was a missing piece of the puzzle in marketing that clearly understands customer needs and positions a company product as a solution to them, which was product marketing.
This nudged me to a career transition where I could put all my skills into play to bring a product to market that resonates with demand and business goals.
What I like most in product marketing are the variety and continual learning. I could be discussing launch details with the design and product team in the morning, positioning and messaging with the marketing team before launch, and enabling sales in the afternoon. One thing is for sure: the next day will be different.
